My name is Meredith & I started Angelina Collective in December of 2025, while simultaneously being a graduate student. I named the brand after my middle name (which I ironically used to hate). From a young age, my favorite thing to do was create. I was overly independent, spending my alone time drawing, creating art, writing short stories, etc. I was constantly pushing the boundaries of my comfort zone. I wanted to re-tap into that side of myself after gaining a redefined sense of time following a bittersweet college graduation. What started as a creative outlet; sewing, beaded embroidery, and experimenting with textures/detail, slowly became something more intentional. I used my many years of retail experience as inspiration to begin creating pieces that I wanted to wear, using my younger sister and my mom as models for my new creations. Being the detail-oriented Virgo that I am, I spent hours crafting each piece to perfection. Once I started selling these pieces and shipping them all over the country, I became obsessed with creating a brand rooted in individuality. Since then, I’ve expanded our collections to incorporate other retailers for some products, yet still curated by Angelina Collective. Being based in Upstate New York, the collections are influenced by my love for being near the water and inspired by my favorite places to vacation in the New England area. Another thing I’m passionate about is photography. The scenery photos on the home page were taken by me, my website was entirely created by me, and I do my own marketing as well, with help from my sister as my co-designer and production assistant. Although not every product is still handmade by me, the ones in our handmade collection were made by us with love and passion, and no two pieces from that collection are exactly alike.
